  • Raja Ampat Indonesia (map)

The Indonesian archipelago of Raja Ampat lies in the Coral Triangle, an expanse of 40,000 square kilometers of marine territory and pristine reefs make these waters a diving haven second to none. The best known archipelago is "Raja Ampat" which means "4 kings". The area has over 1,500 islands, the four main islands are Misool, Salawati, Batanta and Waigeo.Reputed to be the most biodiverse marine habitat on Earth, Raja Ampat is home to many species not found anywhere else. Spectacular, exciting, brilliant, phenomenal, are just a few words that come to mind for this underwater divers dream destination.

Imagine descending into the blue, encountering a rainbow of vibrant, thriving reefs that come to life before your eyes. Schools of fusiliers, jacks, mantas, wobbegong and epaulette sharks can be seen in this extraordinary epicenter of marine diversity. Annie Crawley spent 3 years of her life working throughout the Indonesian Archipelago and will be shooting 4K video & photography for her upcoming book.
